The general security situation at the Jarinje and Bernjak borders, but also in the north, is generally calm.

The Mitrovica-Leposaviq highway does not have many vehicle movements, whereas near the border of Jarinje, where the border police station is located, there are members of the Rapid Response Unit of the Kosovo Police with their vehicles, as well as members of EULEX.

A KFOR helicopter is observing the situation from time to time, whereas a similar situation is also at the border point in Bernjak.
