Calm and smooth election day, citizens hope for change in Prishtina

At “Sami Frashëri” High School in the capital, the voting process for the mayor of Prishtina is proceeding smoothly and calmly.

According to sources from the election commission, the process is running according to the rules and in a peaceful atmosphere, KosovaPress reports.

Voter Qamile Murtezi said she did not experience any difficulties during the voting process.

“Very good, no, I didn’t have any difficulties, it went very quickly. I hope you succeed and that this is completed because it has taken a long time… I hope my vote makes a difference,” Murtezi said.

Another voter, Esat Ejupi, also said the process was going smoothly without any complaints.

“For me, the election process took two minutes, these two minutes were very short, clearly fine, there were no irregularities. I believe so,” Ejupi said.

By 3:00 p.m., 845 citizens had voted at “Sami Frashëri” High School.
