By noon a small number of citizens voted in Bujanovac
By noon, a small number of citizens have voted in the municipality of Bujanovac. Only 14 percent of them exercised their right to vote in the parliamentary and presidential elections in Serbia. Meanwhile, the whole election process is considered to have gone well so far.
The Deputy Chairman of the CEC in the municipality of Bujanovac, Refik Shemsedini told KosovaPress that they are satisfied with the course of the elections.
"So far we are satisfied with the course of the elections, everything is going well, we did not have any problems in any polling station, and in terms of turnout , it's a small number, until 14:00 only 14 percent," he said.
He declined to comment on the large number of Serb citizens from Kosovo who came to Bujanovac in an organized manner.
"We have no obligation to those who come from Kosovo, we have an obligation only to the municipal election level," he said.
Among the citizens, Admir Selimi also expressed his satisfaction with the way the election process.
"The process went well, I did not see any irregularities, so the whole process went well… for us it is better to have as many MPs in the Serbian Parliament for our rights," he said.
Albanian parties in the Presevo Valley are competing with two electoral lists with a total of 20 candidates for MPs.
In the race are the coalition of Albanians United with Shaip Kamberi and the Albanian Democratic Alternative with Shqiprim Arifi./KosovaPress/
