A banner in support of former KLA leaders currently being tried in The Hague was displayed on Tuesday in Pristina.
The banner, placed in the center of the capital, carries the message: “Bring home the liberators.”
Ismail Tasholli from the platform told KosovaPress that the message of the banner is for the former KLA leaders to return to their homeland.
“We are now in the week when more frequent activities by ‘Liria ka Emër’ begin. During the march we announced that we would not remain without action, and this is the initiative of a slogan that encompasses ‘Bring them home’, meaning ‘Bring them home’ — where they belong, and for what they stood for, as written on the banner, liberators,” said Tasholli.According to him, the idea for the banner had existed earlier, but it was realized after discussions, and the entire process took about two weeks.
“As an idea it started earlier, then we had discussions about colors, positioning, and inscriptions. It is a two-week project that was finalized today,” he added.
“This situation is absurd, and we experience it as such. There is also their frustration, which they often express in our meetings, because they cannot comprehend what is happening. They see it as a political construct being imposed over a legal category,” he said.
