Serbian authorities begin to allow Kosovar citizens to cross the border at the Croatia-Serbia border point, after being blocked for hours. This is what the driver of a bus company, Euron Llugaliu, told KosovaPress.

Hundreds of Albanian citizens have been detained since last night at the Croatia-Serbia border point, but the exact cause of this whole situation is still unknown. Although the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in a press release said that all this happened, a few hours after the vote in favor of Kosovo by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, and it is still not known when they will be released.

Concerned with this situation were the bus drivers there and the citizens. Before the opening of the border point, one of the drivers from a bus company, who were stuck at the border point, told KosovaPress details about the case, where he says that their documents were confiscated.

He also said that from the border point there they were told that there are some suspected persons, but the reasons for what are not known.

"For every bus from Kosovo that we have come here, we have been told that there are two or three suspects… They have only made it so that they can see where it comes from and where it will go… From 23:00 last night so far (we are still at the border) … They did not take any passengers; everyone is as they were… They have taken all of out IDs, and we are waiting for them… We do not know what is being done, it is too bad for us, because the food has already run out", he told KosovaPress.

Also Albanian citizens behind the cameras of KosovaPress have expressed their concern with the situation there.

On the other hand, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it is said that our institutions were informed that at the Croatia-Serbia border crossing, in Batrovci, buses of various operators of the Republic of Kosovo, which had to transit through Serbia, were stopped by the border authorities of Serbia.

The same, while appealing to other citizens to avoid these border points have emphasized that the citizens of Kosovo who were coming towards Kosovo were also stopped at the border with Hungary, at the border points in Shid and Subotica, at the border crossing in Dheu i Bardhë and are not allowed to move forward or back. According to this ministry, all passengers' personal documents as well as those of the buses have been taken. Also, some of them have been taken and are still being interrogated.

In addition to the reactions from the state institutions, there were also reactions from the business community, who appealed to the government to offer protection and support to the citizens trapped there. /E.Krasniqi/
