The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, before the high-level meeting between Kosovo and Serbia, had a short address in which he expressed optimism for today's meeting. He said that despite the painful past, the countries should look forward, towards the future, as it is more important. Borrell said the first meeting between Kurti and Vucic was not very fruitful but wished things would change today. He said discussions will continue on the progress made so far, on the next steps and the way forward to continue the dialogue.
