Although she mentioned peace and tolerance, the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Bernabic, during her address in North Mitrovica, said that they will fight for the Serbs.

Bernabic, who is on a one-day visit to the Republic of Kosovo, also said that they will invest for the Serbs who live here.

However, a day after the joint letter that Scholz and Macron sent to Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Bernabic said that Serbia is ready to take difficult and unpopular decisions. Meanwhile, she accused Kosovo, claiming that it is "running away from the signed agreements".

In front of the Serbian citizens who came out to welcome her, she praised the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, for whom she said that as he fought for Serbian identity cards in Kosovo, he will continue to fight for the formation of the Association, while adding that in recent years they have invested more for Kosovo Serbs than during the past 40 years.
