The AAK candidate for Mayor of Prishtina, Bekë Berisha, cast his vote today for the local elections at the “Meto Bajraktari” school in the capital. Berisha wished citizens good health and called for a good start.

“Dear citizens of Prishtina, I inform you that we are coming out to exercise our right to vote… I wish you all health and success,” said Berisha.

The total number of voters, both inside and outside Kosovo, in Prishtina is over 224,000. There are 54 regular voting centers, with 268 polling stations and one special polling center. The voting center at the Faculty of Philology is among the largest centers in the capital.

Voting is taking place today in 38 municipalities of Kosovo. These are regular local elections, where the total number of eligible voters is 2,069,068.
