The chairman of the Democratic Party (PD), Lulzim Basha, in a statement to the media from the party headquarters stated that the counting of votes will end with the great victory of the Alliance for Change, a coalition led by his party. Basha said that the Socialist Party (SP) has deeply lost the number of votes counted in Tirana, in closed areas, in Përmet, Këlcyrë, and Memaliaj. The leader of the Democratic Party has called on the Socialists to quit playing, because according to him, they are the ones who have blocked the counting in Kamza and Paskuqan and who are trying to block the counting in Durrës and everywhere else. He demanded that the counting continue and that the will of the people be understood.
