Bajrami clashed with the Vetëvendosje MP, Mirlinda Tishukaj, after the latter said that Bajrami was invited in the capacity of the former Minister of Finance.
For this, Bajrami said that she received the invitation to the committee to report in the capacity of the former Minister of Education.
She was asked about the cost allocated for the purchase of school books at the time when she held the position as Minister of Finance, but Bajrami emphasized that she does not have this data.Meanwhile, the VV MP, Arjeta Fejza, asked Bajram whether during the time she was Minister of Education, there was a discussion about the piles of books in schools. In addition, Bajrami was asked if any discussion about an alternative text has been initiated.
Regarding this, Bajrami said that she does not remember discussing these issues. There was also a question from the MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Agim Veliu, if there were any complaints regarding the supply of school books during the time when Bajrami was holding the post of Minister of Education.Bajrami said that during this period, when there was also a pandemic, the only issue that was discussed was the lack of school material, including pencils and notebooks for students. She indicated that during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were restrictions and bookstores and other alternative places where school materials could be purchased were closed.
