The member of parliament from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Hykmete Bajrami, has strongly reacted to the Supreme Court's decision, stating that the liberalization of the energy market was carried out in violation of the law and at the expense of approximately 1,300 local businesses.

According to her, this process was designed to favor companies connected to the Kurti government, and the recent Supreme Court ruling, as she put it, "confirms all the warnings that were made earlier."

Bajrami has called on law enforcement authorities to fully implement the court's decision and ensure that businesses are reinstated to the universal electricity supply service. She also demanded the removal of all those in institutions who made unlawful decisions and holding them accountable for "every cent wasted."

Referring to the situation as "the greatest theft committed by the energy mafia," Bajrami raised the question of why government institutions have not taken action against it, emphasizing that "everyone knows the answer."
