The Movement for Democracy organization held a symbolic activity in front of the Albanian Embassy in Kosovo, through which it opposed Edi Rama's initiative for the so-called Balkan minischengen, now officially named "Open Balkans". Members of this organization held in their hands the banner that had photos from the recent war in Kosovo, which showed Serbian crimes against the civilian population. The president of this organization, Mexhid Ramosaj, said in front of the media that they oppose any such initiative, as Serbia has not yet apologized for the crimes committed in Kosovo. He said they had taken care to remind Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic's ties to Balkan butcher Slobodan Milosevic.
