At the "Paris 2024" Olympic Games, Kosovo will be represented by nine athletes, but the expectations to win medals are from the sport of judo. This is what Besim Aliti, general secretary of the Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOC), said in an interview for KosovaPress.

Beyond the Olympic Games, sports institutions in the country are also engaged in the preparations for the organization of the Mediterranean Games in Kosovo in 2030. On this matter, Aliti has said that they are still within the necessary deadlines to carry out the work required by this giant organization.

According to him, there are concerns regarding the sports infrastructure because there may be procedural issues that may delay the start of work on the construction of new sports halls and stadiums.

At the opening ceremony of the Mediterranean Games, Aliti has left open the possibility that one of the world's music stars, Dua Lipa or Rita Ora, will perform.

In the end, the secretary of KOC has called on all sports federations to have additional commitment to bring out young athletes to give Kosovo dignified representation in future international competitions. /A.Bytyçi/
