Albania should have a more active role in supporting Kosovo in the dialogue with Serbia, say those familiar with political developments in Tirana. According to them, with the intensification of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and with the discussions on the statute of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority, Albania should be more committed to lobby for the Association to be within the constitutional framework of Kosovo.

The political analyst in Albania, Lutfi Dervishi, says for KosovaPress, that Albania has a delicate position in relation to the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, precisely because of the closeness of Prime Minister Edi Rama to the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic.
