Albania is ready to exceed the figure of six million tourists this year. Besides in the beaches, over 260 guesthouses have already been opened in the agritourism sector. The Minister of Tourism, Mirela Kumbaro in the interview for KosovaPress, says that the Albanian government has taken all measures to make the prices reasonable. However, she emphasizes that guests should be spread throughout the territory of Albania, in order not to create concentrations. June, July and August are the months when the beaches are full of vacationers from Kosovo and around the world. The Minister of Tourism, Mirela Kumbaro, calls on the visitors to spend their vacation days in the sea, the mountains, play natural sports and take tours organized throughout Albania. The season has been open since March, when tourist groups started to visit many places in Albania in an organized manner. Kumbaro adds that there should be coordination of packages between the two countries, so that tourists from all over the world stay longer in Albanian territories. She emphasizes that the expectations are that Albania will exceed the figure of six million tourists within this year.
