Albania breaks diplomatic relations with Iran, Rama: The ambassador and staff to leave within 24 hours
The Prime Minister of
Albania, Edi Rama, announced today that they have cut off diplomatic relations
with Iran, this decision following the cyber-attack on Albanian institutions.
Rama said in a video
message that the decision was made known by official note to the Embassy of the
Islamic Republic of Iran, which was asked to leave within 24 hours from the
territory of the Republic of Albania.
