Rei Manaj, who scored a spectacular goal in Albania’s match against Serbia, has been immortalized in a mural in Mitrovica. After the Albanian national team triumphed over Serbia with a 1-0 result, a mural depicting Manaj’s celebration after the goal was placed outside the “Minatori” sports hall in Mitrovica.

The Albanian national football team achieved an important victory in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers as visitors against Serbia last night in Leskovac, winning 1-0.

A brilliant goal by Rei Manaj in the second minute of stoppage time in the first half secured three crucial points for the Red and Blacks in the fight for second place in Group K.

Albania’s upcoming matches are against Andorra away on November 13 and against England at home on November 16.

After six matches, the Red and Blacks are in second place with 11 points, four points behind first-placed England, which has 15 points from five matches. Serbia is in third place with 7 points, Latvia is second to last with 5, and Andorra is last with 1 point.
