New details have emerged about the tragic incident that occurred early this morning in Gjakova, where one person was killed and another was injured in a shooting.
According to initial information, the person who lost his life and his brother, who was injured, were allegedly shot by the owner of a bar where they were at the time of the incident, according to sources from KosovaPress.
The incident occurred around 05:30 PM on “Vëllezërit Frashëri” Street. As a result of the injuries sustained, one of the brothers died at the scene, while the other was sent for medical treatment.
Kosovo Police confirmed that police units immediately went to the scene and the case is currently under investigation.
The state prosecutor has also arrived at the scene, while authorities are taking the necessary investigative actions to arrest the suspect and fully clarify the circumstances of this incident.
