Kosovo Police have reported two separate cases of domestic violence registered in Gjakova on July 7 and 8.
According to the 24-hour police report, the first case occurred on July 7 at around 6:30 a.m., when it was reported that a minor son had physically assaulted his mother. The victim refused medical treatment, while the suspect is at large. The case is under investigation.
The second case was reported on July 8 at around 4:30 p.m. According to police, a man is suspected of committing domestic violence. He was interviewed by investigators and, by decision of the prosecutor, was sent into custody.
Police said investigations into both cases are ongoing.
