The organizations that emerged from the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army will hold a press conference today to present details and information about tomorrow’s protest.
The conference starts at 11:00, at the WVA-KLA offices. WVA-KLA and other organizations that emerged from the war will protest tomorrow from 17:00 at “Skënderbeu” Square in Prishtina, to oppose the continuation of the judicial process in The Hague, against the former KLA leaders.
During the protest, an institutional reaction will be requested regarding this process.
“Given the lack of reflection by political parties on the constitution of institutions, and the failure to respect the decision of the Constitutional Court, the meeting decided to hold a nationwide protest, with the following demands: Opposing injustices against former comrades-in-arms who are in the Special Court. Urgent formation of legitimate institutions and respect for the constitutional order. Ending contempt for war categories, including lack of financial support, exclusion of veterans from the minimum wage and the lack of law on the values of the KLA,” reads one of the announcements.
