Acting Deputy Minister of Finance, Labor, and Transfers, Agron Dobruna, stated that the job fair is an event that has proven successful over the years.
“This fair is the result of sustained cooperation between public institutions, international partner organizations, and the private sector. We have over 130 local and international companies choosing to be present at the fair organized today. Not only to recruit new workers but also to find talent for their specific jobs in the labor market in which they operate. There are 500 job vacancies, and behind each vacancy is a real new opportunity for change and a successful career. This fair is more than a meeting place. It is part of our vision for an open, inclusive labor market prepared for future challenges,” said Dobruna.

“Germany remains committed to supporting national partners in promoting economic development. A key aspect of this commitment is providing targeted support to citizens by helping them access career opportunities and utilize their knowledge and skills within the country. In particular, partner organizations support the provision of targeted services for socio-economic reintegration that address the unique needs of their client groups. Together with partners, namely the employment agency and public universities, we cooperate in designing and implementing initiatives to support youth through training programs, internships, support for startups, and employment… The fair also offers a unique opportunity for the citizens of this country, Kosovo, especially for job seekers, to explore available jobs, plan their next career step, and discover economic opportunities,” Rohde emphasized.
Meanwhile, the Vice-Rector for Institutional Development, Quality, and Student Affairs at the University of Prishtina “Hasan Prishtina,” Majlinda Gjelaj, said that this event connecting job seekers and employers has exceptional value.
She said the fair offers very good opportunities for students.
“As a university, we are oriented towards providing programs linked to youth interests for career development. Therefore, we will take advantage of this opportunity, having such interested, creative, and digitally skilled youth, to keep pace with the times and offer what they need. This is a very good opportunity for students. In earlier times, students did not have such an opportunity… This event connecting job seekers and employers, I believe, has exceptional value,” said Gjelaj.
