German Ambassador to Kosovo, Rainer Rudolph, in an exclusive interview for KosovaPress, spoke about the possibility of Serbia extraditing terrorist Milan Radoicic to Kosovo, as the person who took responsibility for the attack in Banjska, as well as linking the establishment of the Association of Serb-Majority Municipalities with his extradition to justice in Kosovo.
Rudolph said it is important for them that all those responsible for the Banjska case, including Radoicic, face justice.
“If I remember correctly, the conditionality was somewhat different, but that is not essential now. What is important for us, and we have said it publicly, is that all those responsible for the events at that time, including Mr. Radoicic, must face justice. He must be brought before justice. We have consistently demanded this, and it is very clear that this is what we expect from the Serbian authorities,” Rudolph told KosovaPress.
The Banjska attack in Zvecan took place on September 24, 2023, where Kosovo Police sergeant Afrim Bunjaku was killed. In April of this year, several members of the group led by Milan Radoicic were sentenced to life imprisonment for the incident. Radoicic himself has taken responsibility for organizing the terrorist attack.
