The country’s President Vjosa Osmani is currently on an official visit to the United States of America.
From there, President Osmani has received good news following a meeting in Washington with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State, Christopher Landau.
“After our excellent meetings in Washington, D.C., where we discussed the vital importance of the MCC Compact for Kosovo, I have now been informed by United States Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau that the President Trump’s Administration has approved the continuation of this program for Kosovo — a program with transformative impact on our country’s energy sector and economic development. Excellent news for Kosovo! Deep gratitude to the United States of America,” Osmani wrote.
