The constitutive session of the Assembly of Kosovo, initially scheduled to be held yesterday at 11:00, was postponed to 20:00 following warnings about a potential bomb explosion inside the building of Kosovo’s legislative institution.
MPs and media representatives present were evacuated by the Kosovo Police, who later confirmed that the bomb threat was false, as reported by KosovaPress.
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that confirmation that the threat originated in Serbia proves Serbia’s ongoing hybrid war against Kosovo.
“I commend the state institutions for their quick and professional response. The confirmation that this threat originated in Serbia once again proves Serbia’s active hybrid war against our country,” Kurti wrote on Facebook. /KosovaPress
