The Kosovo Special Prosecution has filed an indictment against Sh.A. for the criminal offense of “Failure to report or false reporting of assets, income, gifts, other material benefits, or financial obligations.”
According to the announcement, the accused is charged with intentionally submitting inaccurate asset declarations from 2018 through 2022, during his tenure as Mayor of the Municipality of Prishtina, specifically by failing to declare cash deposits made personally during the respective years.
During this period, the Mayor of Prishtina was Shpend Ahmeti.
According to the indictment, the total amount of undeclared funds reaches 172,600.00 euros.
The case has been referred to the Basic Court in Prishtina, Special Department, for review.
