Former LDK MP Avdullah Hoti has accused the government of misusing public funds, referring to recent findings by the National Audit Office for the 2025/2026 season.
In a public statement, Hoti said that 10 public enterprises received a negative audit opinion, which according to him indicates a lack of financial control and unclear spending of public resources.
He added that in one of the public enterprises, almost all institutional oversight mechanisms have failed, while noting that the National Audit Office has forwarded 80 cases to the State Prosecution Office only for violations identified during 2025.
Hoti also accused the government of appointing party officials to boards and management positions in public enterprises, adding that “the abuse of public funds can and must be stopped on June 7 through the free vote.”
