The presidential envoy for special missions, Richard Grenell, reacted following last night’s statements by Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, that the Trump Administration has been pro-Kosovo since the country declared independence.
The former envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, wrote that “Osmani is lying,” saying that she, together with Kurti, had been a “disastrous team.”
“She is lying. The Kurti/Osmani team has been a disaster and we all see it clearly. She will say anything for her own political survival,” Grenell wrote on the X platform.
During an interview last night on Syri TV, Osmani said that cooperation with the United States has helped open new opportunities for Kosovo on the international stage.
