After two people were injured in the village of Doganaj, four individuals were detained on Monday on suspicion of “attempted murder,” the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Ferizaj announced.
“By decision of the State Prosecutor of the Department for Serious Crimes, four (4) suspects with the initials A.S., L.V., Sh.L., and L.K. have been detained for a period of 48 hours on suspicion of the criminal offenses ‘Attempted murder,’ ‘Unauthorized possession, control, or keeping of weapons,’ ‘Causing general danger,’ and ‘Participation in a fight,’” according to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
It is stated that, based on initial information, the incident occurred on July 21, 2025, at around 00:52 in the village of Doganaj in the Municipality of Ferizaj, where a shooting was reported, resulting in two persons suspected of being injured by firearm.
The two injured individuals, one of whom is a police officer, after receiving first aid from the Ferizaj Emergency Service, were transferred to the Kosovo University Clinical Center (QKUK) for further medical treatment.
At the crime scene, two suspected vehicles, two weapons, sixteen (16) cartridges, and one (1) projectile suspected to have been fired from the weapons used in this case were seized.
The State Prosecutor has authorized the police to undertake all investigative actions to clarify all circumstances of this case.
