At a polling station in Shtime, Ferizaj, a citizen damaged his ballot paper and attempted to vote on behalf of his wife.
The case was confirmed to KosovaPress by the spokesperson of the Police for the Ferizaj region, Kanun Veseli.
Regional investigators have already arrived at the scene and are taking the necessary actions.
“Regarding the case, regional investigators have been notified, who have gone to the scene and are carrying out the necessary investigative actions. For further information and developments related to this case, you will be informed in a follow-up report,” Veseli said.
By decision of the state prosecutor, the case has been initiated as “Destruction of voting document” in regular procedure.
