The Central Election Commission (CEC) announces that the period for political entities to apply for certification and submit their candidate lists for the Local Elections for mayors of municipalities and Municipal Assemblies—scheduled to be held on October 12, 2025—is still ongoing.
This period, which began on June 26, will end on August 13, 2025.
To facilitate the application process, the CEC has operationalized the electronic platform https://apliko.kqz-ks.org, which will serve political entities in submitting their applications online.
How to Apply?
Step 1: The authorized representative of the political entity (citizens’ initiative or independent candidates) must fill in the required information online on the platform: https://apliko.kqz-ks.org. Registered political parties and coalitions have been assigned and sent user accounts, and therefore they not required to follow this step.
Step 2: After the application is submitted, the Office for Registration, Certification and Financial Control of Political Entities (ORCFCPE) will review and approve or reject the initial application. Once the application is verified, the ORCFCPE will send the authorized representative the credentials via email to access the online platform and submit the application.
