The Department of Serious Crimes within the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Ferizaj has filed an indictment against the defendant with initials L.F., from the municipality of Ferizaj, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “Aggravated Murder.”
According to the indictment, there is a founded suspicion that on January 23, 2025, the defendant L.F., intentionally and in a cunning manner, deprived the deceased B.V. of life, as reported by KosovaPress.
“According to the Prosecutor’s Office indictment, there is a founded suspicion that on January 23, 2025, between 18:30 and 20:06, in the village of Lower Pleshinë, in the mountainous area near ‘Rilindja’ road in the village of Manastirc, Ferizaj municipality, the defendant L.F., intentionally and in a cunning manner, deprived the now-deceased B.V. of life. It is alleged that a day before the critical event, on January 22, 2025, the defendant and the deceased had planned to go to a villa in the mountains of the village of Burrnik, Ferizaj municipality, where they had been together before. After preparing food around 16:00, the defendant, together with an unidentified person, took the victim from his home using a white pickup truck. They drove to a location called ‘Te Podi,’ then continued on foot through the mountains toward the villa, where they stayed until the next afternoon. On their way back through the mountains of Pleshinë, they deviated from the path for unknown reasons and continued toward the road leading to the village of Manastirc. Near that village, for unknown reasons, the defendant deprived the deceased of life by shooting him in the head with the weapon the deceased had with him—a semi-automatic Kalashnikov rifle—causing fatal injuries, as confirmed by the autopsy report. Afterwards, the defendant covered the victim’s body with soil, wood, and bushes. On February 5, 2025, the body was found by local citizens. This act constitutes the criminal offense of ‘Aggravated Murder’ under Article 173, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 1.4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo,” the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Ferizaj stated.
According to the same statement, the prosecutor handling the case proposed to the Court that after the trial, presentation, and evaluation of evidence, the aforementioned defendant be found guilty of the criminal offense he is accused of and be punished according to the law.
