The President of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Agim Ademi, has been re-elected for another term at the head of the federation.

Ademi ran unopposed for the position, as there were no other candidates.

Out of a total of 56 delegates, 52 took part in the vote, all of whom voted in favor of continuing Ademi’s mandate.

After his re-election, Ademi said that the vote given to him represents a major responsibility.

“Your vote is trust in me and in my team. Your vote today is an appreciation of the work we have done together, and your vote is support for the future and for the continued work together with my team,” he said.

In addition to projects that are nearing completion, Ademi also spoke about a new project for children, adding that from this season onward, national team kits will be supplied by the Adidas brand.

“I can tell you that this year we may have an important project for children called ‘Dress for Your Dream.’ We will provide uniforms for all children, in all schools, to enable and encourage them, and to provide the basic necessities for every child. These will not be Adidas kits, but our national teams will be dressed in Adidas this year. This year we have a sponsor and we will be represented… I believe we will manage to present ourselves in America as well,” he said.

Local coaches will now find it easier to obtain the FIFA ‘Pro License,’ which is the highest level of coaching qualification.

“Most of you who have Pro Licenses have obtained them through the Albanian Football Federation. This year, starting in May, we will have the pleasure of promoting the first Pro License class at the education center in Hajvali,” Ademi said.

During the assembly, other agenda items were also approved, including the Federation’s budget, as well as the election of members of the FFK Executive Committee. Ismail Ajeti, Xhelal Broja, Bakir Burri, Mirsad Qollaku, Armend Misini, and Agim Nura were elected to the committee with 49 votes in favor and three abstentions.
