About 99 percent of ballots are counted

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has counted about 99 percent of ballots from 2,336 polling stations. The results have been published on the CEC website, showing that only 46 polling stations have remained unprocessed. According to these results, Vetevendosje, led by Albin Kurti, who is also the candidate for prime minister, is leading with 48.17 percent. Behind it is the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 17.35 percent. This party is led by Enver Hoxhaj, who was also the candidate for prime minister in these snap elections. While the third party is the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK). So far this party which had a candidate for prime minister Avdullah Hoti has 13, 18 percent. Whereas the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) has 7.42 percent, and the Initiative with 2.59 percent. These are the preliminary results which do not include conditional votes, postal votes and votes of persons with special needs.
