Abdixhiku votes: Let this be a day of celebration, Kosovo should be proud of its electoral process
The chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, has described today’s local elections as a day of celebration.
After casting his vote in the capital, he said that today’s elections mark the day when decision-making returns to the citizens for the next four years.
Asked about the organized gathering of citizens by the Serbian List in North Mitrovica to vote in an organized manner, Abdixhiku said he relies on Kosovo’s official institutions — the CEC, the Prosecutor’s Office, and the Police — and has full trust in them.
The total number of eligible voters inside and outside Kosovo in Prishtina is over 224,000. There are 54 regular polling centers with 268 polling stations, and one conditional polling center. /KosovaPress/
