The candidate for prime minister from the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, voted at the “Faik Konica” Lower Secondary School in Prishtina.

Abdixhiku called on the citizens of Kosovo to participate massively by exercising their right to vote in the parliamentary elections of February 9.

He said that today is a day of democracy, where citizens will decide their fate for the next four years.

“It’s a good day, it’s a beautiful day, it’s a day of democracy. On this day of democracy, I call on all citizens of Kosovo to participate massively in deciding their fate for the next four years of their own and the Republic of Kosovo. I wish all the voters who for the first time in these elections cast their vote for the future of the republic. It’s a festive day for us, for the LDK, for the people of Kosovo. Elections are always a celebration, and today we should treat them as such,” said Abdixhiku.

The number of polling stations available to citizens is 941, of which 903 are for regular voting, with a total of 2,533 polling stations, and 38 polling stations for conditional voting (one for each municipality), with a total of 56 polling stations.
