“A symbol of freedom and friendship,” Prattipati praises Kosovo’s postage stamp dedicated to the United States
The Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati, commenting on the postage stamp issued to mark the 250th anniversary of the United States’ independence, said the initiative reflects the close relationship between the two countries.
Together with Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Kosovo Post, she issued the commemorative stamp on July 3.
“You have turned a simple piece of paper into a lasting symbol of the deep friendship between the United States and Kosovo. … Every letter that carries it will share our enduring story of freedom and friendship,” Prattipati wrote on social media.
