A new competition for notaries is expected to be announced by the Ministry of Justice
The Ministry of Justice is planning to announce a new competition for notaries, but part of this competition will not be over 60 candidates from the previous competition who had passed the process which was contested and returned at the zero point by the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu. The candidates of the last competition will only be subject to the licensing process as notaries. On the other hand, the municipalities are calling for this issue to be resolved as soon as possible due to the difficulties that have arisen due to the lack of notaries.
The senior advisor to the Minister of Justice, Genc Nimoni, said that after the decision of the Basic Court in Prishtina, which gave the right to the candidates of the last notary competition, new circumstances have been created and currently as a ministry they are in the phase of creating a commission.
