Judoka Nora Gjakova has managed to make Kosovo shine again at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, winning the final that secures her the gold medal. Nora in the final faced the judoka from France, S.L. Cysique. Nora in the -57 kg category, also defeated the Japanese Tsukasa Yoshida, Kaja Kaiser from Slovenia and the Dutch, Sanne Verhagen. This is the second gold medal that Kosovo has secured at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as it was also Distria Krasniqi, who secured one in the -48 kg category.
