Today marks nine years since the death of General Shaban Shala, who is known as an early activist of the liberation movement and an extraordinary contributor to the KLA war, but he also engaged in the restructuring and systematization of all KLA soldiers and of the KPC.

Shaban Shala comes from a patriotic family, he was a political prisoner and an early activist of the liberation movement, he was a prominent activist of the CDHRF, and during the liberation war he made a great contribution to the establishment of the first cells of the Kosovo Liberation Army and its structuring. Shala was also a member of the KLA General Staff.
