8 deaths and 194 new cases of COVID-19
8 deaths and 194 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours in Kosovo. this was announced by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK). During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with RT-PCR method, as well as public and private laboratories with RAT method, were tested a total of 2,285 samples taken from UCSHK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 194 positive cases result.
The total number of positive cases is 104,390 cases out of 524,588 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 2,148. During the last 24 hours, 599 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 92,571 cases, while the number of active cases is 9,671.
