7 victims and 234 new cases of COVID-19 in Kosovo
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with the method RT-PCR, were tested a total of 1,181 samples taken from the UCHSK and tracking of case contacts in the field, of which 234 cases result positive. Within 24 hours 7 deaths were reported with SARS CoV-2 positive. Death cases are from the municipalities: Prishtina 2 cases (87, 58 years old), Decan 1 case (65 years old), Ferizaj 1 case (63 years old), Malisheva 1 case (74 years old), Obiliq 1 case (76 years old) and Vushtrri 1 case (73 years old).
The total number of positive cases is 51,144 out of 182,329 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, while the total number of deaths is 1,332. During the last 24 hours, 564 patients have been cured, the total number of cured to date is 40,987 cases, while the number of active cases is 8,825.
