A contingent of 38,400 doses of COVID-19 vaccine has arrived in Kosovo today. At the “Adem Jashari” Airport in Prishtina, the new contingent within the COVAX Alliance was received by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kosovo, Nicholas Abbott, the Chief of Staff EU Special Representative in Kosovo / Tomas Szunyog, French Ambassador to Kosovo Marie-Christine Butel, German Ambassador to Kosovo Joern Rohde, United Nations Development Coordinator in Kosovo Ulrika Richardson, Head of Office at UNICEF Kosovo, Murat Sahin and USAID Mission Director in Kosovo, Lisa Magno.

The press release from the Prime Minister's Office states that Kurti thanked the QUINT states and other organizations for their continued assistance for Kosovo in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
