Despite the increase in positive cases with COVID-19, citizens continue to disregard anti-COVID-19 measures. Only on Monday, the Kosovo Police imposed fines on 353 citizens who did not respect the antiCOVID-19 measures. Meanwhile, measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus continue to be in place. There are currently 5,118 active cases of coronavirus in the country. Most active cases of COVID-19 are in the Municipality of Prishtina. There are 2,232 active cases in the capital, while in Mitrovica there are 436 cases. According to the latest report of the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK), 728 citizens tested positive for COVID-19.
