On May 30, 1989, a demonstration against the Serbian regime was organized in Podujeva. On that day, a group of diplomats from Europe were visiting Kosovo and exactly on this day, the so-called "Llap Squad" came out in military uniforms in the streets of Podujeva. Ali Ajeti was killed in an armed clash, while several others were injured.  Ali Ajeti was born in the village of Sfecla in the municipality of Podujeva and has been in prison during the years 1984-1988. After being released from prison, Ali Ajeti and some others decided to form a group called "Llap Squad", KosovaPress writes.
