In the amount of 25.5 million euros, the sub-loan agreement was signed between KOSTT and the Ministry of Finance for the project "Development of the energy sector VII - Improvement of the transmission network". This project foresees investments in the replacement of substations of key voltage lines for safe and stable operation of the transmission system.

The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, while showing the purpose of the project, said that the important thing about this agreement is that the level of losses will continue to be low, even though according to him the losses are small.

He also said that the development of the energy sector is a key priority for the government.

Meanwhile, Matthias Conrad, Deputy Ambassador of Germany in Kosovo, has expressed his satisfaction with reaching this agreement. He said that improving the climate in the energy sector is a priority area of Germany's cooperation with Kosovo.

Meanwhile, Evetar Zeqiri, chief executive of KOSTT, has indicated where this project will be focused.
