Today marks 24 years since the first appearance of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). November 28 does not only mark the celebration of Flag Day. Every time this month comes, Kosovo remembers the first appearance of the Kosovo Liberation Army on November 28, 1997, in the village of Llausha, Skenderaj. Meanwhile, what made the KLA make public its activities, was the murder of Llausha school teacher, Halit Geci, two days earlier by Serbian forces.
