Today marks 23 years since the establishment of the 137th Brigade "Gjakova", which is one of the most important chapters of the war in Gjakova and Kosovo.

The establishment of this brigade was done by the order of the commander of the Dukagjini Operational Zone, Ramush Haradinaj. This brigade was established following the requests of KLA soldiers from Gjakova to intervene in their city, in order to stop the massacres and crimes of the Serbian army against civilians in this municipality...
