On May 16, 1999, Ukshin Hoti disappeared in unexplained circumstances.

The prominent activist of the National Movement, Professor Ukshin Hoti was born on June 17, 1943, in Krusha e Madhe village of Rahovec. He was a professor, writer, philosopher, intellectual, patriot and prominent activist of the national cause during the years 1981-1999.
