​Vitia meets with Orlando, discusses COVID-19 pandemic

The Minister of Health Arben Vitia received today the Ambassador of Italy in Kosovo, Nicola Orlando, with whom he talked about the COVID-19 pandemic, the vaccination process and the support of the international partners given to Kosovo in facing the challenge of the pandemic. In this regard, Minister Vitia thanked the Italian state for the concrete support it has provided to the health system in Kosovo in combating COVID-19 through strengthening diagnostic capacity, but also professional expertise. Minister Vitia and Ambassador Orlando agreed on the strengthening of joint health projects and also stressed the importance of implementing measures against COVID-19 by all in Kosovo, as well as monitoring their implementation, in order to preserve of public health of the population.
