The Chamber of Doing Business in Kosovo received in a meeting the General Director of the Tax Administration of Kosovo, Ilir Murtezaj and the Deputy General Director for Operations at TAK, Nijazi Asllani. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the creation of facilities for doing business, the importance of combating and reducing informality, educating taxpayers, and raising awareness of tax obligations. The increase of mutual cooperation, joint organizations for accurate information of businesses regarding the obligations and legislation in force, the possibility of providing support to businesses targeting exports and motivations for declarations were discussed during the meeting. The CDBK also raised as an issue some of the requests received by businesses related to the initiation of the Law on losses which businesses pay VAT, the increase of services within the EDI platform, in order to eliminate bureaucratic procedures for equipment with documentation and digitalization of services. Murtezaj said that TAK is ready to provide support in any process that contributes to the legalization of business and economy, as well as to provide professional support in matters of mutual interest.
